SharpSet ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the SharpSet mobile application (the "App").
SharpSet does not collect, sell, or share your personal information or workout data with third parties, and it never requires an account. If you choose to turn on iCloud Backup, that data is sent only to your personal iCloud account—never to us.
Data Collection
SharpSet does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information or workout data on our own servers. All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device by default. If you choose to enable iCloud Backup, your data is sent to your personal iCloud account—SharpSet itself has no server and never receives a copy.
We do not:

- Track your usage or behavior
- Use third-party analytics or advertising trackers
- Sell or share your data with third parties
- Require account creation
- Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
Data Storage
All workout data, including:
- Exercise logs
- Sets, reps, and weights
- Client information (if using Trainer Mode)
- Workout history
- Custom exercises
- Settings and preferences
...is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to export it or enable iCloud Backup—in which case it is stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and remains accessible only to you.
Data Usage
Your workout data is used solely to:
- Display your workout history
- Calculate statistics and progress metrics
- Provide workout tracking functionality
- Generate reports and insights within the App
No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.
Your Control Over Data
You have complete control over your data:
Export: You can export all your workout data at any time in CSV or JSON format through the App's Export Data feature.
Delete: You can delete all your data at any time through Settings > Delete All Data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Uninstall: If you delete the App from your device, all locally stored data will be permanently removed.
SharpSet Pro & Payments
SharpSet offers an optional Pro subscription ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) that unlocks unlimited templates, custom exercises, clients, advanced charts, and data export. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store—SharpSet never receives, stores, or has access to your payment or card information. Subscription management (purchase, renewal, and cancellation) is handled through your Apple ID account settings, subject to Apple's own privacy and payment policies.
Third-Party Services
SharpSet does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Apple's iCloud (for optional backup) and the App Store (for optional Pro purchases) are the only external services involved, and each is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not ours.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Data Security
We do not store your data on our own servers. If you enable iCloud Backup, your data is protected by Apple's iCloud security and encryption. We additionally recommend:
- Using device passcode/biometric protection
- Keeping your device's operating system updated
- Using the App's export feature to create backups of your data
Your Rights
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete ownership and control. You may:
- Access all your data at any time through the App
- Export your data in machine-readable formats
- Delete your data permanently at any time
- Use the App without creating an account
California Privacy Rights
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents may request information regarding disclosure of personal information to third parties. Since SharpSet does not collect or share personal information, there is nothing to disclose.
GDPR Compliance (European Users)
For users in the European Economic Area:
- We do not collect or process personal data on our own servers
- Your data stays on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud Backup, in which case Apple processes it under its own privacy policy
- You have full control to delete all data at any time
- Purchases are processed solely by Apple; we never receive your payment details
